March Valley Voices

Meet Sam George, great-grandson of legendary Chief Dan George. Sam is an Aboriginal Support Worker in the Langley School District who helps Indigenous youth discover their heritage, and shares his culture with all students at R.E. Mountain High School. Right now students can see a special exhibit about Aboriginal history prepared by the Museum of North Vancouver. Also, we visit the tiny but fascinating Harrison Sasquatch Museum to hear about the mythical creature from Robert Reyerse.  Valley Voices is produced by the Langley Heritage Society and hosted by Mark Forsythe Wednesdays at 11 am on  CIVL 101.7 FM at the University of the Fraser Valley. Listen to the March show HERE.  (It takes a few seconds for the file to load up after hitting PLAY) Previous shows are found on the CIVL web page.
